Wanna read a Freaking Awesome Book? Us too!
Freaking Awesome Books is the self-publishing brand of Mike Peterson, author of books that have nothing to do with one another. (That’s by coincidence, not by design!) On the bright side, if you find one on a topic you’re interested in, you’re going to love it!
Mike’s books so far include:
- Start Dreaming Again – You’ve never been taught to be rich. There wasn’t any malice to it. Simply put, no one ever knew enough to teach you about leverage and residual income. …until now. (The original site for Start Dreaming Again is still up.)
- ImproWISE – A reference manual for short form improv comedy with information compiled and discussed in a way that’s never been available anywhere …until now.
- “Yes, and…?” No! But… – Mike is the lead trainer at ZingerZ, a commercial improv comedy company. This book contains the entire philosophy he developed over the course of more than twenty years of professional performance and training that allows him to train players to a higher level than other companies train and in a fraction of the time. It includes the three fundamentals he teaches that can guarantee with 100% certainty that every single scene is riveting to the audience as well as how to give your players indomitable confidence on-stage, and much more.
- There Is No Genie In This Play – A one-act play for middle/high school. The fable of King Midas meets the Twilight Zone in middle school! It’s a genuine tragedy …and we mean that in the truest Shakespearean sense! A fantastic crowd-pleaser with a cast of 9-20+ that’s entirely flexible male/female.
- Mary’s Stories – (Novel AND readers theatre editions available!) Decades after everything in the Bible, a town in Judea is celebrating the turn of the season. At one large campfire, someone turns to a woman sitting by the fire and pleads, “Come on, Mary, tell us a story about Jesus that we don’t know.”
- Mike has short stories published by other publishers! You can find anything else he’s been a part of on his Amazon Author page.
- What’s coming next? First up: television! Mike has an offer from a studio and producer for a sitcom he’s developing. Next is probably a movie that is completely mapped out. And then there’s a book on business-to-business networking that he’s had in progress for far too long… (Would someone please help Mike understand how to stay in a single genre?)
…and hey, because they’re all the rage to have these days, we have a privacy policy. Ours, however, will probably make you smile. (Click it, we dare you!)
